UbiEst and NAVTEQ to transform Italy's railways

Telesistemi Ferroviari, UbiEst and NAVTEQ have joined forces to create a web application for Trenitalia that will transform
Italy’s railways.
The application is called TrainSat and it collects real-time data relating to the positioning, tracking, monitoring and control of locomotives
operated by Italian rail giant Trenitalia. UbiEst supplied the geographical and application software, NAVTEQ provided the digital map data and technical and solutions development came from Telesistemi Ferroviari, the ITC service company dedicated to the transportation and logistic market.
