UbiEst joins BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program

UbiEst SpA, italian company offering integrated navigation and GPS-localization, announced it has joined the BlackBerry® Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Alliance Program by RIM (Research In Motion).

Thanks to the agreement, UbiEst will develop a range of GPS-location based applications of applications based on localization GPS for BlackBerry® smartphones 8800 and 8310 and will access to a wide range of RIM resources, including development tools, partner technical support and marketing programs.

The introduction of UbiEst navigation and GPS tracking solutions within the Blackberry platform will foster the adoption of mobility and workforce management applications by the business and institutional customers.

“There is a precise convergence of target and objectives between RIM and UbiEst”, commented Nicola Mattia, Chief Executive Officer of UbiEst SpA, “this agreement enables UbiEst to foster its solutions to Blackberry user base, while complying to the location-based strategy carried out by RIM with the releases of newest GPS enabled devices”.
