MapBroker Web Services allow IT Service Providers, System Integrators and developers to take advantage of Web GIS capabilities like online maps display (Java, Flash, html, php, jsp, asp, etc.), address finding, geocoding and reverse geocoding, proximity search, route and distance calculation, geofencing and tracking, POI management, and more.
MapBroker is available for customer “in-house” hosting or via managed service from UbiEst Server Farm ensuring scalable service, 24/7 support and data reliability.
MapBroker supplies a reliable standard XML interface towards to Customer IT systems like ERP, Sales Management, CRM, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Knowledge Management, etc .
The cartographic engine ensures excellent performances in data processing, even for high amounts of contemporary accesses.
MapBroker is powered by UbiEst proprietary GUD+ technology and provides several functional modules:
- MapBroker Module: map display from Navteq cartographic database onto internet and wireless environments.
- Route Module: calculates distances among two or more points and generates a route on predefined parameters (on foot, by car, etc.)
- GeoCoder Module: performs direct (from address to coordinates) and reverese (from coordinates to address) geocoding and address validation and search
- Proximity Module: finds locations in a defined radius around a location or along a route corridor
- POI Broker Module: enables upload, management and visualization of custom POIs and associated information
- Dynamic Content module: XML interface to integrate dynamic contents into maps
- Connectors: predisposed interfaces for external systems: billing, profile management, provisioning, GPS or Cell ID localization
MapBroker Platform relies on Navteq database: complete street coverage in 4 continents, 14 million of POIs, data update every 3 months
